It’s supposed to hit 107-109 today. I’m a little worried about the ducks/ducklings. We have a weather warning for the heat.

I have water for them but should I do something else for them?

As long as they have plenty of cool water to drink/swim in they should be fine. Make sure they have plenty of shade too. You could add electrolytes to their water too if you want.

We weren’t that hot yesterday, but it was hot for here. Yesterday I put a block of ice in one of their bins, they loved it.

Make sure they have shade and swimming water. If no swimming water give them a shower with the hose. I put the nozzle on shower and let them come under it. They love to catch it in their mouths.
5pm is supposed to be the worst. I have a pool but I may do this then, as well. Thank you!

Cold water to swim in, shade, drinking water, ice blocks sprinkler, electrolytes, boredom busters. All are good options. Boredom buster are good to keep them busy and not stressed! Cold treats are great too!(water melon, water melon water melon!!!)
