Exchequer Leghorn

They are my 2 Exchequer Leghorns they are 7 weeks
Can someone tell me please they are boys / girls?

I think pullets. They are gorgeous. They look totally different than my exchequer leghorns. Mine has more speckling rather than large sections of black.

They have red combs so I was sure they are boys

This is Spunk. She is 100% female and lays teensy tiny white eggs.

Both males. even leghorns don't have bright red combs at that young.

I'm not sure exactly how old she was in this picture, but I would have sworn she had a big comb at that age. I looked back and she actually had a small pale comb and no sign of wattles. I retract my statement about them being pullets! I had also forgotten how solid the black coloring was when she was little!
