Im new and I only have 3 chicks. Is this breed better for egg laying? Can you mix breeds in the coop once chicks get bigger? Beechtree where are you located. Im new so I dont have a incubator yet..I love reading all the stories hear so if my efforts go as well as everyone else I might give it a try.

Hi! I raise exchequer leghorns. They are a wonderful bird. I sold some eggs to a lady on this website. She posted the pictures of the chicks on here. If you are interested in some eggs, let me know. I am getting ready to put some in the incubator today. I just love this breed. I'm glad to know others are interested in this beautiful rare bird.

I have a 9 week old male that has been crowing for 2 weeks! Now the little stinker is attacking me. I had a brown leghorn several years ago that was very aggressive and I had to put him down at about 8 months. Is this what I have to look forward to with this little stinker?
