Exchequer leghorns

Hi all, I'm looking for some help for these questions. I had 24 eggs shipped, and unfortunately it don't think shipping was too easy on them, now only 7 are developing. I was really looking forward to breeding these leghorns, but am not counting my eggs before they hatch. I have two white pullet leghorns, and was wondering if they could be crossed with an exchequer roo if necessary, and what I would get. I think I read somewhere that the chicks would be white, split to the exchequer pattern, so would have to be bred to siblings for an increased chance of the exchequer pattern? Thanks in advance!
