I think the "don't use blacks from BBS" has 2 reasons, one is that some blues are so dark they are accidentally assumed to be blacks, used as blacks and then you've now introduced that into your line and if may become apparent layer. Secondly, BBS might be hiding some other funky recessive genes that might do unknown things when used with Ermines.
I just hatched my first Ermines this spring from a breeders eggs so I just have opinions at this point and no real world experience in Ameraucanas. One thing I do know, my lovely "BBS" silkies throw some interestingly colored chicks that they really shouldn't. But, I would think of you have a high quality BBS Ameraucana pen and you are confident in the blacks from that pen, why not try them? As long as you test hatch / are honest with people buying eggs, the generic diversity will only help.
