Excited about getting started!

Hello, my name is Adana, I live in Missouri, and I am very excited to get started with my chicken flock! My husband and I decided to do this, one, because we both love animals and look forward to having feathered pets, and two, to have a hopefully endless supply of fresh tasty eggs!

We haven't gotten started yet, I am looking into coops and trying to decide weather to buy one, or build one ourselves!

Build! For the same amount of money you will have a far better and bigger coop than if you buy.

I'd highly suggest building. It will be fun (especially if you are in partial lockdown!) and honestly aside from your time, way cheaper. Good luck!

We were thinking the same thing! Neither of us is very handy with building stuff, but have found a few pretty simple sets of plans! Plus, we ARE under a stay at home order right now, even though I am still working part time, we still have plenty of time on our hands to get it done!
