EXCITED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT

Sounds like a beautiful mixed flock! I don't have any laced birds, much to my sorrow! I have Easter Eggers, Dominiques, which look like Barred Rocks except with a small rose comb, and a few Black Australorps. I am ordering some Cuckoo Marans and Blue Rocks as replacements for my older EEs. The Marans I want for the really dark brown eggs, and the Rocks for the light cream eggs. That should balance out my egg basket! The French Black Copper Marans are too pricey for my budget but the Cuckoos were quite reasonable and should still give me the dark Marans egg. Here's hoping, anyway!
Heck yeah! Lol. I would love a colorful basket. I saw some speckled light-dark brown eggs earlier, but now I can’t remember which laid them. There are sooo many breeds!

My boyfriend fell in love with his moms Buff Orpington, & then I showed him the Lavenders & we both loooove the color so we got those. My friend has had a lot of chickens & her favorite ever was her lavender Orpington. 🥺
I am so glad to hear about the Wyandottes, that just made me so much more excited! 😂 I found the Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, didn’t even know that color was an option.. got the Roo in that option too hahah. We were going to also get the silver laced, but since we already had 4 of that breed I wanted to try the Rhode Island blue, super pretty! What breeds do you have?
Current flock is in my signature (if on mobile, turn phone sideways to landscape mode to see). This year we are getting:
3x Blue Laced Red Wyandottes Pullet
3x Black Laced Red Wyandottes Pullet
6x Blue Americaunas Straight Run
4x Splash Americaunas Straight Run
4x Easter Eggers Pullet
3x Buff Orpingtons Pullet (kiddos favorite)
15x Welsummers Straight Run
6x French Black Copper Marans Straight Run

We moved onto 40 acres so flock size isn't a problem. I'm hoping to get started breeding speckled green eggs with the Welsummers and Americaunas.

Welsummers lay speckled brown! One of our Black Australorps also has very lightly speckled eggs in occasion. Wyandottes can sometimes have pink or white speckled on peach/tan eggs.

Y’all look what we just did! Aghhhhhh. First timer here! Anyone use this place before? We live in GA, hope they ship well! They will have a comfy home with brand new everything & lots of love waiting on them!! ❤️
P.s don’t forget the electrolytes for the first couple of days! 😬

How eggciting!! Lucky little babies! 😍🐥🐣

What a lovely flock you’ll have! I’m a sucker for laced birds, we have 7 Wyandottes right now and a few more breeds coming at various times this year. Hoping the blue laced Barnevelders I picked up last week look as pretty as the pictures lol 🤞🏼 Just in case, I’ll grab a blue laced red Wyandotte when our next group comes through. Nice pick on the lavender Orps too! Snuck a few in earlier this month after drooling over them, so hard to find
