(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I don't have any chickens yet but I am planning on getting a few in the next couple weeks!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? None sadly, but planning on getting 3-4

(3) What breeds do you have? I am really hoping to get a couple Plymouth rock's and/or Wyandottes.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? A friend suggested to it me.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am a landscape/nature photographer and I also love to hike, garden and I also do many different types of crafts. I'm working on crocheting an egg holder right now!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband Mike and I have been married for close to 3 years now. We sadly can't have human children but we have many fur kids. We have 2 dogs (Lexie & Smoochie), 6 cats (Mya, Dusty, Eros, Petrie, Willow & Brad), 6 rats (Luna, Storm, Pluto, Sky, Cloud & Eclipse), a rabbit named Mr. Bunny and a hedgehog named Rose Flower.
We are hoping to move to the country before the winter comes and want to start a small hobbie farm.

:) Congratulations, to getting your first chickens. You will enjoy them so so very much. Before you go shopping I would recommend knowing all your town/city ordinance. Once you move out to the country read about the ordinance for that area. Theres nothing worse then loving your new pets as family just to have to give them away. My little story is "Crowing Chickens?" here at back yard chickens. Best Wishes ;-)
