My name is Stephanie, and I live in WI. I dont have any chickens yet.....but I have a lot of dogs, and two parrots. I have been interested in chickens for a few years, and just started working at Tractor Supply, so my chicken fever is raging! I want to learn all I can, so I can build a chicken paradise, and get the right chickens. I live on 5 acres, and have an existing building I am hoping to use.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock when they arrive and/or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

Nice to meet you Stephanie. I have a feeling you breed & show Rottweilers. There are tons of dog people on BYC. I used to show and breed Cockers many, many years ago.
