Exciting day!!! (pic heavy)

I've bought my chicks last year and this spring from the farm store. Recently picked up 16 from Mt. Healthy.

Well it's been an exciting day! Was expecting 1 chick to be born but got 2 within a couple of hours! We have a third one pipped so it won't be long.

But today Betty hatched her own little fuzzy butts!

Betty is a black bantam cochin. Barnie(her husband) is also bbc.

We had a stresfull morning. 3rd baby born in am and fell out of nest. I found it, cold, wet and barely cheeping. The only thing I could think of was to put it back under Betty and let nature take its course.

This afternoon this is what I found!
