Excuses why you need more chickens

This is a weekly thing for me, explaining to my boyfriend why I brought home more chicks and we originally just decided on 2 or 3.
My excuse for today is: It's almost spring and I need to start chick-scaping the garden!

"They were getting bullied by the other chicks"....... "But they eat (whatever bug is eating at our garden at the time)"..........."I forgot the kids were holding them until after she already rung me up and asked if I needed a box"....... "What?!? I don't hear peeping? Your going crazy!"
Yes I have used all these lines on my sweet unable to argue husband. He never tells me no, and always injures himself building coupes and pens. Poor thing.

Girlscouts were selling them for charity because they ran out of cookies
