Exhibition Cages

My son will be showing poultry in 4-H this summer. I have not found anything on the internet about cages for these events. Where can I purchase show cages or find plans to make them?

I would say at Ebay or at your Local feed store.....

are you asking about cages to take them to the event or for use at the event?

If the show is a table show...the kid walks up with the bird and the judge comes to the kid and bird then there will not be cages provided and these shows will be over in a day...

If it is a cage show...the bird isplaced in the cage ready to go and the judge goes to the cage and looks at the bird then the cages will be provided.

some shows require that birds be left over night at the show barn...these will typically provide cages

as far as hauling...folks use just about everything...dog crates are real popular...there are some "show" cages out there and you should be able to find links fairly easy or go to a large show and ask folks where they got theirs or there might even be folks selling them there.
