We're still pining away for that black pullet 'up' here in the soon to be great white north. My blacks are coming along but we could use a nice tufted girl. And yes, nice bucks would be freezer fare for me, Mmmmm!

Thanks Lanae. : ) But, the articles should be timely regardless of where you live.

For now we are focused on upcoming shows and show results for just the Southern States. For California show results you may want to subscribe to the Poultry Press. It's not color and it's not free but it is very informative.

I agree the articles are, but I also liked the info on the shows and would love something that had info on shows closer to home. I have looked at the poultry press. Course yours is free. I have to admit I first looked at it because you have Araucana's and figured you would have show info and maybe pics in there for them. Course of printed it cause of the articles, not the pics. HMMM where have I heard that before. LOL!!

Just an update . . .

The response to this first issue has been overwhelming and the link to the magazine has only been up for just four days now. I have been bombarded with requests from around the country to include other states in future issues. Based on that I am sure I will have a much more complete list of national shows in the November issue. And if anyone wants to send in some show results and pix, breed club news, etc., as long as they are recent APA/ABA shows, it would be welcomed, with the state of their residence not of major importance. Obviously, since the subscriptions are free and the magazine is driven by advertising dollars, people will need to be spending at least some ad money or I won't have the time to allocate to the magazine that I would like. Thank you to everyone for all the very nice compliments on the magazine. I am hoping the November issue will even large and better that the current one. : )
