My friend had a cougar for 15 years. He was HUGE. He died 2 years ago. She said that even in his old age he would still play like a kitten. [IMG]

I have a friend in TN who has 2 Serval Cats. For those who do not know what that is, here is a link to a site that has nice pics.. They are beautiful creatures!
She does animal rehab and rescue of exotics.

nope, just a plain old b/w DSH that is half blind. But i would love to have one. I might be looking into it once DH retires from the Army and we settle down for sure.

I wouldnt recomend anyone supporting the Exotic animal trade.. It is digusting how these amazing creatures are treated.. It is extremly expensive dangerous and most times illegal to havethese animlas.. It promotes the illegal black trade.. which in turn funds drug cartels mobs etc...

If you were to get a large cat please work with a big cat rescue to help an animal already in need .. There are already many animals suffering in the USA right now... These huge animals are WILD no matter how domesticated you think they are... Remeber the chimp the woman had that recently ripped her friends face off. she had that chimp for 16 yrs and never had a problem. Sorry I am done...I just j=have seen to many horrors in my short life..

Somebody at my HS used to have a bobcat/house cat cross. They brought it to show everyone one day. It looked really sad to me. I wouldn't mind getting the proper permits to legally own a Bobcat someday to rescue it from someone else that doesn't take care of it. Other than that I wouldn't own any other cat. Mountain Lions are really pretty but too big to be a pet in my book.
