I hatched this wyandotte bantam hen from a breeder's eggs. The egg should have been blue silver pencilled. It was not.
I found a specialist UK breeder who breeds Pyle Partridge birds as she looks similar to his and I sent him a photo but he never replied.
She definitely has either pencilled or double laced markings, and her colour is buff at the neck fading to white at the tail (ignore the dirty tail feathers).
She hatched all white and then the yellowy buff started to come in as she feathered out.
I think she is stunning and I love her colouring. Would like to know what variation it is called though.
