Expect an egg??

Ok so last time I posted on this chicken she was about 3 weeks younger -- she is now 15 weeks. I got mixed votes between pullet and cockerel. I think I've been reading up enough to say with almost 90% confidence ... pullet?? What do you think?

Another question about her... she has a very red face-- does this mean she is getting close to laying age? I'm curious because although they have a great coop I haven't made the nesting boxes...yet! Maybe that will need to be my weekend project!

The feed bag I have says they start laying from 18-22 wks, so it should be soon for her.

I have never heard of the "red face means egg laying" thing before. Interesting
