expecting chicks the week of april 12th

So I know there are a few of us out there...who's expecting chicks in the mail next week? I thought I would start a thread so we could wait together and of course post some cute pics when they finally get here.

I'm DIEING waiting for them to get here. I've ordered from MPC and I'm getting 2 white cochins, 3 light brown leghorns, 3 GLW, and 3 SLW.

hey! count me in! i ordered from MPC too and they're coming next week!!!! woo hoo!! i ordered 5 EE, 1 BO, 1 WC (arn't the white cochins super cute?), and 1 silver cuckoo maran. i absolutely can't wait!! i've contacted the PO, i even contacted MPC today to touch bases. everythings in order! the girls are on their way!!!

Ok, I'm finally in!

I've been lurking a long time but this is the perfect thread for me! My MPC order is coming next week as well. I'm expecting 1BR, 1 delaware, 1 columbian wyandotte, 1 BO, 1 australorp, 1 SS and 2 EEs.

Here's looking forward to happy , healthy chicks and a good excuse to take a few days off work!!!

I have 30 mixed bantam cochins to hatch the 16th, and I've got an order of 11 white crested blue polish due to ship the 19th! WooHoo! Super excited too! I also just had 26 cornish x delived today! They should be big enough to move to the next coop by the time the other's arrive/hatch!

My dear, wonderful, inabling husband (whose birthday happens to be today) needs to help build me more coops!

Gonna owe him big time. This time last year, I asked him if he would mind if I ordered just a cple of chickens so we could have fresh eggs....and wouldn't it be wonderful for the kids.....yeah right...I'm hooked!

I have 4 BO, 6 BA, 5 EE, 5 SLW, and 5 SS. 3 barred bantam cochins, 5 birchen bantam cochins, and 5 blue bantam cochins, and a buff and red bantam cochin. 6 white silkies, and 1 splash silkie!
