Expecting Mare Speckled Bag

Hi I have mare that is a month overdue but we think tonight is the night,
I have a question she has a speckled bag and I was wondering what,
that meant.

not really sure what you mean by a speckled bag but they do "wax up" on the teats shortly before labor starts. could this be what you are seeing.

Sorry I mean her milk bag has spots all over it that usually arent their.

I do know what waxing is and she does not have any wax.

Their bags look grainy and dry looking as they fill, as they get closer to foaling, the graininess will go away and the bag will look shiny and waxy.
You may see small drops of wax on the ends of the teats.
