It's a baby unicorn! He has magic in him!!! That is one special chickie, and you got it on video he came from an egg! What a story to tell your grandkids, about the unicorn in your back yard that you hatched from an egg... Might want to copyright that story before someone else does... just saying...
My favoite part of your video was the HUGE sigh you let out when he tumbled out of that egg.... It just made me go "awwwwww...." about you, not the chick, and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. You love your chickens and it just showed so much in that video...

I used to snip dew claws myself and I discovered that the theory on newborn to 7 days having no pain was a complete myth . My day olds would scream their little lungs out for a second or two . I wasn't having problems with torn dew claws due to brush tears in my natural adults and could not justify causing the pups pain just for the smooth cosmetic value .
