I really want to try hemp with my new flock. Previous flock was on play sand for 12 yrs. While the sand kept things dry and I only had to completely replace once a yr, my 8x8 coop was so dusty and shoveling out 600 lbs of sand sucked! The only options I can find in Fort Worth Texas are either rent a coop on Amazon for 68$ for 33lbs with free shipping or TSC ship to my local store 79$ for 33lbs. Does anyone have experience with these 2 brands?

Not with hemp. I bought inserts from Rent-a-Coop to make my waterer and feeder. Everything was good, they even threw in an extra waterer cup.

Results may vary, depending on batch... I got the Rent-a-Coop hemp last time and it had a lot of fibery bits that didn't get chopped up properly. Still using it but it makes it much tougher to sift. Previous bags were fine.

Someone else had the same issue with a bag of Old Dominion brand, so it's not like the brand matters all that much.
