I'm so glad they're growing for you!! I found out that some of my shipped eggs had been refrigerated, too, and I got a chick. Someone told me that for a week, week and a half, if you keep them in the refrigerator, it sort of freezes their timers, so it's as if they were all laid on the same day... or something like that. I might be misquoting. As long as you let them come up to temps slowly, you should be ok! After I talked to you, Mark, I took those eggs out of the fridge and they sat on the counter until I shipped them, so they came up slowly. It's the heat that kills them. 85+ for a period of time starts them incubating, then if you cool them off too long they die.

I just LOVE you guys! So Glad I found people JUST LIKE ME!
I am not strange at all for hatching all the eggs I can and talking about chickens all the time!
Its all those 'OTHER' people that are weird!

Love reading the posts!
You're definitely in the right place! I have a calendar printed out so I can keep track of all the staggered hatches!!
I asked for help once... I think I heard laughter from afar...

Well shmoo candled the eggs before he put them in the bator, and they looked very fresh, so that's a positive. In case you didn't figure it out, shmooborp is my counterpart in this experiment
Everything is going well for my eggs, plan to try to hold out until at least day 7 to candle. I've never had this few eggs (6 in my bator, so candling should be super easy
But hey you gotta try again with this.. my eggs are starting to pip well not the frig eggs yet they will prolly pip tomorrow but before i put them in the hatcher i saw movement in them
