No, I'm all good. I really prefer the bantams (and geese and turkeys, which are already big and meaty.) But my mom raises Buckeyes and they can dress out pretty nicely!

Me and my friend have a running joke about crossing a Silkie and a Red Ranger to create a meat bird with Silkie quality meat on a better and faster growing carcass though.

The Giant Silkie Project, one of the goals is meatiness. Crossing with red ranger would probably work for what you joked about actually.

Next I'm gonna do the same Easter Egger/Brahma X Malay, but add in Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock into the mix.
So I'm gonna keep a breeding pair out of the next batch.
