The past few days I have been trying to find out my little chicks likes and dislikes as far as treats go. I know what's safe to give them, so I have been going by that list. So far, we have tried hard boiled egg mashed up, uncooked oatmeal, sunflower seeds, and apples (all of this chopped super fine in my processer)

I was SO sure they would love the apple, bc I have read how several other ppls chicks go crazy for fruit. They couldn't have been more uninterested in the apple, but loved the others. I guess its a learning process for all of us

I was wondering what to YOUR birds like as treats (I'm not asking whats safe and not safe) but rather what their individual tastes are?

Mine will eat just about anything, but they are not fond of bell peppers or celery.

Don't give up on the apple - sometimes they have to be offered something several times before they're willing to try it. I'm too cheap to actually give mine apples - they just get the apple core. I know one group of chicks I had were about 6 weeks the first time I stuck an apple core through the wire of their run. One of them grabbed it and the chase was on. That thing was gone VERY quickly.

Gave my 10-day-old babies a tablespoon of mashed Korean sweet potato and they all went nuts.
