No way to determine viability from a still picture. If it wiggled in the water, then its viable.

If it did not wiggle, that doesn't mean its dead. Sinking does not mean one is dead. Floating does not mean one is alive.

float test is useless except to confirm its alive if it wiggles. This can be done just as well with candling.

That being said, assuming that egg is not touching the floor of the pot, what you are seeing is a viable amount of float. Not guaranteeing anything, but it is good that it is not bobbing with 75% out of the water, and good it did not sink like a rock.
