Wonder if you can find those egg wipes local I have seen them on line. Or is it egg wash?

Our local store has them. I really am worried about bloom loss and then in turn pushing chemicals or bacteria through te shell.

I'm thinking egg wipes would probably be safe because you don't want the bloom washed off of any egg so maybe those wipes will leave the bloom intact and just get the mess.

I'm a real novice here...but if the protective bloom is on the egg won't it protect them from any bacteria? Or are you worried they will have a difficult time getting out of the shell if
It's covered in dried stuff? I think if the bloom protects the egg from poop it would certainly protect it from yolk.

No. Bacteria definitely will go through the bloom at the level of nasty these eggs have. Plus, even though running dry incubation, it's still 27% rh. , any moisture weakens bloom and bators become Petrie dishes!
