Exploding Muscovies

I have also had a very serious exposion but muscovys ducklings sell fast and easy here.I have hatched over 250 ducklings this year and 1 more hen sitting on 17 fertile eggs.. I sold the rest of my adults and am just keeping young birds.. She is my last older muscovy and she will be staying here as my only adult muscovy. Her babies are due this weekend!

I've just had muscovy babies hatch too! and wow 25.. thats a lot of babies for one mum... must of been hard work sitting on them all to incubate em!

Thankfully, I have had controlled explosions - worst was two nests at once. Otherwise, it's been a smattering of babies all season which is perfect for me and for selling.

If anybody is in Michigan, I've got six 16 week old 'scovies and seven 8 week old 'scovies for sale, totaling 8 hens/5 drakes. Oh, and about 5 ducklings from a hatch today.

Mine have been so busy sitting on eggs that they've run out of their own and been having to brood chicken eggs, lol. I am going to remove all the cochins eggs soon though because a friend is bringing some of her eggs down for them to hatch. apparently her girls are refusing to brood like everyone elses this year!!

I used to raise Muscovies and they are great and harmless ducks species, quiet, destroing lots of bugs and selfsufficient.

Unfortunately there is now a nationwide campaign to exterminate those species led by Governement bureaucrat and pseudo "scientists" most of them claiming "education" and "expertise" , however most of those "experts" never raised any birds and they have no experience or authorithy to decide which species are "good" or "bad" for our enviroment.

Obviously all those idiots claim to be "green". What a joke.

All this crap prosecuting Muscovey ducks started in Fl last year by some heartless bureaucrat, who decided to start campaign against Muscovey ducks, trying to score some points in the Government corporate latter.

Now this "deasease" of persecuting Muscovies spread to other States, and it seems the Feds are entertaining the idea of banning and destroing Muscovey ducks in US.

Well, I have a bad news for you all Government freeks and enablers:

Muscovey ducks are going to survive your HOLOCAUST , since they are tough species, Muscoveys have the best mothering ability among all waterfowl species, also capability of avoiding predators (they are good flyers and are capable to roost on trees).

Eat your hearts Government bureaucrats and "pseudo scientists".

Muscovey ducks are going to survive your persecution and will survive here wheter you like it or not.

You are just trying to get your agenda in people backyards and (What next : bedrooms) trying to decide what we can have, raise, or whatever !!!
