I'm not a big fan of that name (no offense to anyone that likes it) and I have a friend who named her son that. I've always liked Lane for a boy, but then our son would be Lane Marker...talk about getting picked on!

I have a great great great uncle Tice. I thought it was a cool name. I have a great great aunt named Adarkathia.....don't use THAT one!!

I liked my grandma's name too Maisy Irene, and my dad Stuart Eugene...I like Stuart. Liona is pretty for a girl, 'O' pronounced as in the word top. I like Samuel for a boy too. Other than that..I guess it depends on the family names. You don't want to name Bob and Jill's son Rufus Jermaine or their daughter Felicity Sharice. I think names should fit the family. Of course that could be because my parent's are John and Sue and my brother John was named after my male parent(not my dad) and my sister Susan was named after mom. I got stuck with Cynthia...which was my male parents ex-step daughter, and NO I don't forgive his bad taste. Go for something that fits well and he/she will thank you later...just my 2 cents.

For a girl I like Kennedy... (I have a 1995 model Kennedy Lange)

or Grace?

For a boy, I like Harrison, Trip, Kameron, Owen, Guy, Sport, and Denzil... My hubby hate everything but Kameron...

I have an Ava and a Brynna. Brynna was almost an Ashlyn. If we have another girl she'll be Georgia Elise and a boy Jed David. Not preggers yet, but seriously thinking about #3. Also for a boy like Henry, Samuel, and Abram. I love those names -- they were always one of the boy names if our girls would have been boys. So funny now because we have friends with little boys named Henry, Samuel, and Abraham. All in the same family -- so funny! Same kinda taste, I guess. Names are so fun!

well, where are your family from? maybe a traditional name from wherever your ancestors lived might suit?
My baby has names already but we aren't telling... not sure which set we'll use anyway as we don't know if we're having a boy or a girl...

My mom's family is from Italy and my dad's is originally from England/Ireland, but from the good old USA as far back as we can trace. An Italian name doesn't really fit with the last name Marker from my hubby's side. Can you imagine Salvatore Marker?
