I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done exactly, but the information I'm finding seems to be a bit vague.

Has anyone done this and can provide the information I would need? also, i see some references to quarantine, others state it's not necessary...

HELP?!?!?

Importation requirements are here.

At the very least I would expect that Canada would require some kind of permit and a statement from the us veterinary services that the birds are disease free. Try calling the Canadian border services and ask to speak to a agriculture inspector.
thanks... i did and also found that website already too, and the other breeder and i have decided it's not worth the effort, cost and such just for 1-2 pairs of bantam cochins.
