Extended run occupied.

Love your new setup for your chickens!

On a different note the way that Roopecca was eyeing you and pretending to forage in the grass while side stepping to you is aggressive behavior that I notice in cockerels and cocks. So just keep an eye on him and don’t turn your back on him.

I never turn my back. He's been pretty good but i think all this room he has to be responsible for keeping safe for his ladies has unnerved him a bit. He used to be a bit agressive but after several corrections he's been quite a good boy. Only twice since opening the new run has been a bad boy. Once when my daughter came in he went for her. She hasn't been inside since Roopecca was about 9 weeks old. She's been too sick, but she wanted to see the new run. I corrected him while standing shoulder to shoulder with Trisha. The second time was hubby. It was the first full day in the run. Correction given. I'm hoping once the novelty wears off he'll calm down again.
