The chick was hatched less than two days ago. She was very very weak, I had to help her out during the last stage of hatching. I have been leaving her in the incubator. I found her left leg was twisted externally, and the joint and feet were swollen. Please see the picture. I think her toe must have stuck in one of the holes of the hatching pad and dislocated her leg. But I am not sure. Please see the pictures.
I have been reading here and online, and decided to make her a chair in the cup. I tried to align her leg and wrapped it with vet wrap, but I don’t think I was able to align it well. She was in so much pain when I tried to do it. She doesn’t seem to want to eat or drink. She tried to get out of the chair constantly.
I gave her electrolyte with vitamins manually. Your thoughts and advice on whether I have done it right and what else I can do to help her is appreciated.
