This is my second time hatching chicks in the incubator. We are currently in the middle of day 19. Three chicks have already external pipped. Is this okay? Should I be worried?

I've had early pippers, it can happen. A chick will hatch when it feels like it's ready. This is my second time hatching chicks in the incubator. We are currently in the middle of day 19. Three chicks have already external pipped. Is this okay? Should I be worried?

Are you hatching standards, or Bantams?

Early pippers usually wait until day 20-21 before they hatch alot of the time. But you might have chicks tonight. That’s a relief! I am hatching standards![]()
One of them seems to be working non stop so there’s gotta be at lest one that will hatch within the next 12 hours. I’m just hoping that if any do, that they have already absorbed their yolk.Early pippers usually wait until day 20-21 before they hatch alot of the time. But you might have chicks tonight.
They should have their yolks absorbed completely before hatching. One of them seems to be working non stop so there’s gotta be at lest one that will hatch within the next 12 hours. I’m just hoping that if any do, that they have already absorbed their yolk.
Yep!They should have their yolks absorbed completely before hatching.

Really?! That’s cool! My chicks seem to look that they might hatch on day 19 or 20 as wellMy chicks usually hatch on day 19-20. I've never has a single chick hatch out on the 21st, not even naturally hatched ones!
