Extra Eggs won't ft in the bator, anyone close to me that can help?

Button eggs are pretty hardy and have a better hatch rate from shipping than chicken eggs. They'll also survive not being turned better than chicken eggs.

How small of bator do you have that it can't hold 40? Most of the good small bators should hold 100 easy. The only exception would be an rcom mini. Those dome bators are trash. You will be lucky to hatch anything in them. A $40 styrofoam bator from the feed store will hold more than enough eggs and hatch well enough.

it is big enough for all the eggs but it has a automatic turner and some of the pieces are missing and i am not home enough to turn them 5 times a day like they say you should. i have about 40 or so in it but i still have a lot left.

3 times a day is fine and it doesn't have to be even spacing. I was turning at noon, 5pm, and midnight when I had college classes. Morning, evening, and before bed works for people who work. However button eggs are a pain to turn by hand. I put mine in trays and set the trays up on a piece cut off another tray so I can just tilt 25-50 at a time from side to side.

Can I bring some too? LOL If you lived closer, I might ask. I'm getting some Columbian and probably some lemon/blue bantam cochin eggs this week. Can't wait!
