Extra eggs...

We have a large flock of lovely ladies (and gents), and every day we get more eggs than we can eat in a week. We have a few egg customers, but still, WAY too many eggs. Recently, a local branch of Feed Our Vets opened up near us, and my problem was solved! Now, any extra eggs go straight to the veterans, and none go to waste. Win-win! We just dropped off 22 dozen!!

We dropped off another 24 dozen eggs a few weeks ago, and just tonight, I dropped off 22 dozen. I asked how they liked the eggs, and they told me they loved them! I was told they love all the different colors, and were intrigued by the green ones. So happy I can do something (even though it's little) to help out.

You can't make a difference in the whole world but you can in your world! With all this crazy and hoarding so many are rushing to gouge people for eggs and chicks because folks are afraid. They don't even care if the buyer cam or knows how to care for the animals. Please, everyone..put some extra eggs in your bator and give them to people at your church , members of fire dept and hospital employees as well as vets and cops so you provide them with a way to deal with this stress and a positive gift of hope as well as being able to answer questions if new bird parents don't know as much. Share a few eggs instead of hugs! It's goes back to the bible..you can give a man a fish and he eats for a day..teach him to fish and he eats for the rest of his days! Not all hero's wear badges or uniforms or capes but it's the difference they make that save us all in this clucked up world!
