EXTRA LONG TOP BEAK ON MY 4 WEEK OLD BANTAM CHICK

THE CHICK has not been outside yet, do you think i need to trim or will it grind itself down when it gets a bit older??..now that it is warm out they will be spending more time outdoors.....but back in cage at night to sleep

Got pics? I'd probably get a dramel tool like the kind they use to grind down dog toenails and grind it down slightly at the tip and very very gently. But be careful, too much pressure or grinding down too hard and you'll hit blood supply or could possibly crack the beak.

You can also add a piece of brick or some kind of rock to the brooder as well, and that will give the chicks something to grind their beaks off on.
