just search coupon sites and there are tons of them.

also a lot of people buy coupons on ebay. I sell coupons on ebay, made about $15 yesterday. I only stockpile things that I KNOW we will use and KNOW they won't go bad or cause bugs/rodents. I live in a old house and I know I have mice...

I spend about 2-3 hours a week on coupons, that is it. My favorite places to shop are Dillions (Kroger) and WalGreens. CVS is good too.

My favorite pic:

Spent about $40 on this: 598 loads of laundry worth-

also you can get a lot of coupons on FB and if you go to manufacturers websites and request for coupons.

Also I have called the 1-800 number on some foods to get coupons...

We have discovered that we can frequently beat the prices at Sam's Club or Costco because we only buy something when it is on sale AND we have a coupon. We may have 4 or 5 smaller packages, but pay a lot less.

I doubt I have used 60 bottles of mustard in my life time and I sure would not want to eat 50 year old one! 90 (or was it 190) packages of buddig lunch meat....yuck!

When I watched the show the other day, one lady could no longer use her shower because that is where she kept paper towels and toilet paper, she was proud of her stash. If it was full of other random items, we would be watching it on hoarders and thinking how sad she needs some mental help. Same with the kids with yet more tp and paper towels under their beds. It is just newer stuff and better organized than the hoarders show. In the end, they have far more than they can realistically use before it goes out of date and much of it is food that is not really good for you.

One of the ladies said she had saved $40, 000 on groceries that year. Who spends $4k a month on groceries? She might have saved $40k in coupon savings, but then she should have donated all of the excess to a food bank so people that needed food could eat too.

For the grocery store, they might have had to pay the clerk OT if the shift was over before the sale was. For the grocery supervisor, they are now in hot water with corporate for allowing OT. They are probably also in trouble with the union for a missed break. The store manager can also be in trouble for the over time and loose their bonus (a big chunk of their salary-can you tell my boys work in the grocery biz-one had a person trying to be extreme just yesterday and ended up getting home late an missing a college class)

I would think the stores would hate these extreme couponers just for the time and hassle they cause. I wonder if the store is losing money on them, too, especially with double or triple couponing. I know they get reimbursed for the coupons, but I don't think they can get back the double or triple values.

I haven't read all the posts, but, I watched once. Those people have an addiction, when they are standing in the line watching things get rung up, they look just like an addict waiting on a fix! And, the really funny thing (to me) was it was on right after the hoarding show! The first thing I thought was these are just hoarders that save money on the stuff they hoard!

We don't pay tax on food in KY..... I only stock up on things I will use like a couple weeks ago you could get a bunch of pasta for free at Krogers and sometimes I can find French’s mustard for like $0.19 along with A-1, spicy mustard and other condiments, but I only buy what I can use in 6 months. You can get free cereal, but it is not the kind my family will eat, so with coupons and sales i pay about $1.25 for a box of cereal....cinnamon toast crunch, honey nut cheerios, lucky charms...etc. I also stocked up on the new home-style Mac-n-cheese for $1 a pack. It is really yummy too. Our krogers doesn’t carry the 4 packs of toilet paper so I have to buy it instead of getting it free with a coupon.

You can go to sites like couponmom.com, coupons.com just do a search for Kroger deals, coupon deals, printable coupons……

Ok so I woke up this morning with all of this still in my head. I wouldn't mind saving and creating a stash of non-perishables, but I could never go extreme. I believe in coupons and checking the sales papers to match them.
We have two out-buildings so storage wouldn't be too much of an issue. I like the idea of fresh vegetables in season too (on sale). I would love to learn more canning techniques. I'm not talking about 80 bottles of mustard, hells no! But maybe once a month hitting a store with some good coupons only to purchase what I had coupons for. I think I could gleen something from this on a much smaller scale. If you use it, any savings is a good savings. My issue like others is the rare beast that doubles coupons anymore. Around these parts, they just don't exist.

So I went a hunting wabbits....and found this really nice site.

We NEVER have good coupons in my area. there are NO coupons on produce, meat or dairy. Which leaves processed food, household goods, health and beauty and pet food. Since we don't eat processed food (I don't eat any grains or sugar) most coupons are useless for us. Every once in a blue moon we'll get a coupon for cleaning products, but other than that trying to extreme coupon would leave me up to my eyeballs in toothpaste, beggin' strips, and toilet paper!
