I used to be much more dedicated about coupons but DH kinda blew them off. But now that we're being more careful with $ he's being supportive. We don't stock up much due to storage limitations, but we generally try to at least save 2x the tax rate, or 20%. That really starts to add up. Pet food, paper products, detergents, and cereal are our main coupon uses. A lot of the other stuff, as someone mentioned, are such junk food or highly processed items that you're better off throwing the coupon away and avoiding them!

Thanks for the links to the coupon sites. We have some things that we use regularly that I'd like to get coupons for.

Also, if you have a Kroger card they send a packet of Kroger coupons in the mail for things you already buy regularly. That's kinda cool, in a Big-Brother-Is-Watching kind of way.

Usually doubling up is not allowed. So I don't know where they're shopping, but if I were behind them in line I would want to throw a can of beans at them.

They don't kid around w/ the coupon fraud thing either! My husband has a cousin who owned a convenience store here in rural OK, anyway they got caught in a coupon fraud thing, it is a felony conviction and ruined their lives, lost the business, bankrupted them, they went to jail, then probation!

On Rachel Ray just now, a lady got two baskets full of groceries and she got back $6++ Wow, how much time would that take though. I am impressed.

I watched last night. The lady with the mustard was a bit extreme, even her husband wanted her to stop.

I use coupons as a matter of fact today at Publix I had $22 or $23 worth of coupons, that was only on items that were also buy one get one free. BUT I didn't buy anything that we wouldn't use in the next few weeks.

Hubby got up today and called our local stores to ask about their coupon policies...
No one doubles coupons.. except one store that (sometimes) has double coupons in their sales flyer... but thats not often.
