Nice to see a few poultry farms in VA!

I live in Lee county virginia. I work in Bristol TN though. I have some bantam frizzle cochins from PP and some silkies from upintheholler. We just hatched three chicks from our silkies. I have some EE eggs coming in March and hope to get a laying flock of those going. I'm looking for some people locally who might have some EE's for sale this year, in case the shipped eggs don't work out. It would be nice to be a part of a local network of chicken owners.

Don't know if it's OK to post this here, but...

I have three black australorp hens hatched late last summer for sale, $12 each. These young hens are healthy and laying great, I just need to downsize. I also have a BA cockerel that I am planning to eat, but I would consider selling him, too, if anyone's interested.

These are for pickup, or I could meet someone in another SWVA location.

I also have BA and RIR chicks available, $2.50 each.

I also have a few (6) Channing Grisham line 3-week-old Welsummer chicks that I would consider selling, asking about $8 each for those.

PM or email me if interested.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hey y'all! We live in Pipestem, WV. Pamperpoultry or anyone, really, I have a frizzled Serama roo that I need to sell if you're interested. I'll post his pic on your Facebook. I'm asking $25 for him. He's a proven breeder and super sweet. He's in right now with his mate who just hatched two of his babies <3

Does anyone have any of these for sale near Big Stone Gap in Lee county VA?:

White Silkies- Looking for 3-6 hens only
Frizzle Cochin- Looking for 3-6 hens only
Also interested in the following breeds: Brahma, Salmon Faverolle, and EE's

Non chicken interests are:
Ducks- looking for two ducks and a drake of: Welsh Harlequins, Cayuga, Rouen, or even a barnyard mix of these breeds.
Guinea Keets- Most interested in the royal purple. I'm looking to buy probably 6-12

Send me a PM with location and prices if you have any. Thanks :) I would rather buy local than from a hatchery, but can't drive too far.

I am living in Patrick County between Martinsville and Stuart. I have 48 chicks, 24 orps and 24 polish. Just wanted to say hey and see if anyone is in the area and can tell me where to get the best feed and supplies for the chicks. This is my first time with chickens and I am loving every minute of it.

Okay, I have to bring this back because I have the same question...

I am looking for:
• a locally milled (if not grown) chicken feed in SWVA
• non-GMO
• doesn't have to be organic, just has to have decent ingredients and not kill my chickens!

It could even by northern North Carolina or West Virginia, I'm just so tired of paying outrageous prices for Purina. Anyone know of anything good in the area?
