Hi just thought I would share this picture. It is my young impeyan pheasant pair and two quail who are all one happy family!
They are inside my basement because the male had west Nile. He was the only one to survive out of 6.
Long story short, 5 of his siblings died over night. So the next morning he was crying and so lonely. So I put the 2 quail in with him. They instantly thought they were all alike and would huddle together on the floor. He could not roost because of the West Nile effects in his legs. After a month I bought him a girl because I wanted another pair. He was still weak at the time but it has been 2 months now and he can finally roost with his little friends.
