So I purchased 4 pullet chicks from a breeder 3 weeks later it turned out 3 out of 4 were Roos! (couldn't miss it by combs and wattles) so she exchanged them for 3 same age pullets that I have had for 5 weeks now and out of the 3 she exchanged I am guessing 2 are Roos-- EE has 3 vertical comb that's red and the Australorp has very pronounced comb and wattles (they are approx. 8-9 weeks old)

Chicken Girl it sounds like you have a good breeder. Someone willing to exchange chicks because they are cockerels is a good gesture. It does look like that you have a couple more boys on the exchange. It may be pressing it to ask for another exchange but give it a try anyway and see what happens. Sexing chicks is so difficult. That is why there are so many posts about it here on this site. At least you were able to get an exchange. Good people do good things.

Wish ya the best.

Chick Charm, I agree with the exchange part! It's the bonding part that's the killer!
