One of my silkies recently got heat stroke and dehydration, she was laying on her side. I held her bottom half in some almost warmish water, and brought her in the house, gave her electrolytes. I kept her in for 2 days, she was improved, so I put her out at night with the rest for a few days. She recovered. Now they all get ice in their water.

seminolewind I sure hope that was what is going on but she is still weak. It is 70 degrees in the house here and she had gotten cold so I put one of those hot water bottles under her blankey and that kept her warm all night. She cheeps better today but still naps ALOT. I brought her to see mama this morning and mama was happy to see her but because she can't keep up I took her back in the house. I just don't want mama to forget about her so that when she is strong enough to go back outside she will accept her. However seeing as they are 1 month old chances are mama will move on soon. The V&E, rescue remedy are really helping alot. Gave her strength to eat a huge breakfast today. Hubby thought her wing was broken because when she looses balance her left side goes limp. I checked it out and it is not broken, perhaps bruised?

It sounds like she's improving, that's good. When she's all better, I would start weaning her back outside on nights. She may have a hanging wing that may recover, sounds likely in a stroke victim.
