My baby is extremely shy. I have held her since day one just like the others. All my other chicks don't mind being held. She just hides. I have tried treats. I would appreciate any advice

My last hatch I had 12 that have made it to almost 4 weeks. Most of them don't complain too much when I handle, some will even fly/jump to my arm. All but my two silkie crosses. They are the most skittish unsocial out of all of them.

I have only had chickens for less than two years but my observation are that they each have there own personalities, I presently have 4 girls and two are older than the others by just several months, but there personalities are all different, the two oldest, Red and Number Two, are friendly and will hop in my lap as long as there are mealworms available but other than that they go on there way doing there scratching and looking for bugs etc.One of the younger ones, Henrietta is just the sweetest girl you ever seen she would rather hang around my feet and talk to me, the 4th girl, Little Red couldn't care less about me other than source of treats, she even makes a growling sound when I pet her and runs if I try to hold her. All are excellent layers and a real source of
entertainment..
That being said your chicks shyness could be she is sick, I wouldn't have an idea how to diagnose that
as mine have all been healthy and happy.
