Extremely ugly bug - i am petrified 😵

Hi everyone! Sorry for my long hiatus, but i am back.
So this morning, my chickens were wandering around my front porch cause they knew i was cooking something nice inside. When I grabbed the handle to open my door, this friggin huge and LONG bug with like a thousand legs crawled onto my hand. I was mortified. I am 6 foot 8 and 250 lbs but im terrified of bugs lol. One of my Romanian naked necks saw the altercation and immediately pecked the creepy crawler off my hand and ate it. Green blood spew out of the alien thing
I've searched romanian web for info about it but couldnt find much info, just a pic. It looked just like this, but way longer.
Now my questions are: is that thing dangerous? Does it bite? Is it poisonous or something?

It's a house centipede.
They are not dangerous.
They are not poisonous.
But apparently to chickens, they are delicious.

Since this species can grow as large as six inches, I think I would panic, too!

That is terrifying. I have pet insects and that would still terrify me

I love bugs and creepy crawlies, but house centipedes make me shudder. Not dangerous to you or your girls though. They're actually quite beneficial if you can get past their looks. They eat pests in the garden.

Even here, we get them occasionally in the drains and sinks. They don't cause issues apart from a moment of black out panic when you accidentally touch them and find them that way

If you swat at them they'll purposely drop some legs and then the legs keep moving to distract you while they make their escape. They apparently grow back later.
