Extremist?

So I just saw that a mod said that the organization is "extremist". I am just curious how the label of extremist is obtained. I know there is a rule to not talk about one "extremist" animal group, but now it seems like the rules are spreading to other groups. Have all the mods made a consensus that the organization is extremist or just the one mod. Just curious how this works, as I don't want to bring up a rabbit rescue or something and have my thread closed down for talking about something extremist.
