This is one of my brown Chinese geese and they have been sitting on eggs for a couple of weeks but tonight I went to check on them and this is what was going on with her eye. Is it an eye infection? What should I do?

It looks like maybe she injured the eye somehow, as I believe I can see a little bit of flesh, and blood. It will be sore for a while until it heals completely, but it may be good to flush the eye with some saline or eyewash, wipe off any gunk with a damp towel, and apply an ophthalmic ointment like Terramycin using a cotton swab, or use something like Neosporin.

Could I use neosporin?

That would work also, as I suggested in my post.
