Does Gertrude (3 y/o RIR) have an eye infection? She is currently on day 11 of a 14 day course of Clavamox prescribed by vet due to coming down with potential EYP about a week and a half ago. She has overall been recovering well over the past week, back to her normal self, but this morning when administering her abx we noticed that both of her eyes were dripping and I thought I saw a small white blob in the corner of her eye. Upon closer inspection it seems she is closing her eyes periodically and they seem watery (not bubbling) (see video), though she is still eating, preening and pecking around pretty normally. She isn't sneezing or exhibiting any other kind of respiratory distress, and she doesn't seem to be scratching at her eyes at all. I also haven't seen the aforementioned white blob except briefly that this morning...

If it was eye worms, would that more likely be affecting only one eye? I also think the white blob I saw was too chunky to be an eye worm. If it is an eye infection, what is the best course of action to clear this up quickly? Other ladies in the flock look normal. I know there are a lot of posts here already about eye stuff but I'd like some other opinions on what this could be.

Look in her eyes, if it's eye worms, you'll see worms moving about (see video below).

Does she do the squinty thing when she's not in the wind?

Without manipulating her eyes like in the video (is that the only way to tell??), but by looking at her really closely, I don't think I see worms moving around. She is still squinting when the breeze isn't blowing (and the other ladies are not squinting even when it is blowing).

It's a good idea to examine her eyes to see if there's any pus, worms, debris etc. that needs to be flushed out/treated.

I got help examining her and we did not see any worms.

I haven't been seeing her squint too much over the past day or so.

However, this morning when I picked her up to give her the Clavamox both her eyes immediately were watery and bubbly again (though one eye potentially worse than the other) and this time some white gunk seeped out. Is this indicative of mycoplasma? I picked up some terramycin in case of eye infection yesterday but if it is mycoplasma then based on my research and others' input probably need to treat with a different abx (e.g. Tylan)? I don't really like the idea of her being on two abx at once though (she was prescribed to take the Clavamox until Sunday).

No other sign of respiratory distress at this point and she is still behaving normal.
