Eye infection or irritation??

we're actually thinking of getting rid of the ducks soon and getting some silkie chicks
I don't really want to, I love them, but they are a bit difficult sometimes
My dad's in hospital now because of them, so he's not that fond of them atm
heheh
I'm sorry about your dad, can you share how the ducks put your dad in the hospital? and sorry your going to have to part with them.

He was chasing them back into the yard from the driveway, because the gate was open [he was just getting ready to leave for work] and one of them ran into the outside table and knocked down a glass bottle.
The bottle shattered and dad stood on it, It cut through all of the tendons in his foot, and then got infected. He's having a second surgery on it tomorrow to get rid of some stuff.

The bit of the bottle he stood on was the neck. It broke in half down the middle, to a sort of half pipe shape and i guess his foot went right down on that.

I wasn't there when It happened but when I went home to get him some stuff... wow, I'm almost glad I wasnt there. It kind of looked like a fatal stabbing had taken place.

I think I might be able to convince my grandma to take them in.
We don't know if they're guys or gals yet so I'm kind of reluctant to let them go based on that too, We got them for eggs. But if they are guys my Grandma will probably happily take them and bake them in a pie...

Tehy sure are pretty, and how awful what happened to your dad, I hope he comes through his surgery and will be okay. and hopefully your grandparents will take them in.

Thanks.
The surgery is just to remove like, a piece of dead skin
So unless something goes majorly wrong, it should be fine
