Eye injury advice please

So this lil guy has an injuried eye ((yes the eye is still in there I have seen it)) any way not sure what happened no vet in my area will see a baby chick I was advised to kill him
Is there anything I can put on it to help with pain and swelling?
I have just started him on .02 amoxicillin
Got him on electrolytes and just ordered probiotics. I do have vetericyn before I apply that I was thinking if there’s anything that could be better

Hello! I would gently irrigate with saline solution, then use plain Neosporin on her eye. No need to euthanize!

Bausch and Lomb Eye Relief Eye Wash for humans is sold for about $4 at most places where eye drops are sold (Walmart, etc.) That is great to irrigate the eye, and use either Terramycin eye ointment from a feed store, or the plain Neosporin twice a day.

Thank you for the help.. I of course couldn’t find my neosporin (should be in my medical box.. lol Murphy’s law I guess) ran to store picked some up and it is now applied! My brain just wasn’t working on this injury usually I’m pretty good but for the life of me I couldn’t think of anything so I sincerely appreciate all the help Fingers crossed he will have at least a little relief by morning
