My beautiful lavender orpington pullet Artemis made a poor decision by deciding to roost on the queen hen Hazel's roosting bar. I watched as Hazel drilled her solidly in the eye right in front of me. What I am assuming was her cornea ( clear domeish looking thing covering her eye) came detached. I don't know what to do next, I flushed the eye with saline and put a bandage over it but it's obvious she will be blind out of it. I don't know if I need to remove the rest of the eye or if something like that might regenerate. Any help would be very appreciated thank you!
