We got this tiny feather footed bantam from TSC 2 days ago. We did notice her eye was hurt at the time of purchase, but she was only one of 2 light colored bantams left so I had to have her. I'm assuming she was pecked in the eye by another chick. Is there something I should put on it? I can see she is moving her eye. I suppose it could also be possible she was born like that since she has an extra claw on one of her toes, so maybe she didn't develope correctly.

She could have gotten pecked in the eye and it got infected. can you get some terramycin? some breeds have exra toes, faverolle, silkie, dorking etc.

Yes I will see if I can get some! And yes she does have 5 toes. But one of the toes has an extra claw or toe nail. So I thought she could have just been malformed from birth with the eye and toenail

I had a duck with this problem, I washed it out with saline daily and put some vetRX on it. I also separated her from the flock so it couldn’t get worse.
