Eye issue....is this part of fowl pox?

Wait for her to go to roost at night, then pick her up to treat it. I use a headlamp or flashlight to treat my chickens in the dark. I would soak the eye for several minutes with the wet cloth. Then try to open it with fingers. Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin ointment would be good to put into the eye twice a day.

Thank you so much for the advice. I will start with the warm wet cloth to see if i can open it. Then of course add the antibiotic cream.

When you open the eye, look if the eye is normal inside. If there is pus, rinse it out with saline and get the pus out.

Good news, I went to treat her in the coop and her eye was open! It doesn't have anything in it, looks normal, but just has the crust around the edge of it. Should I leave it alone? I didn't put anything on it.
